At Oplevelsescenter Nyvang, you experience life and everyday activities in a village and a small railway town in the mid-20th century. Step into a time capsule where over 30 volunteers are ready every day to bring the period from 1930 to 1959 to life.
Take a ride on the bus. Make a good deal at the general store. Satisfy your sweet tooth at the bakery. Chat with the nurses, the postman, or the local constable. Visit the smallholding, the rescue station, or one of our many other houses and shops.

Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Closed on Monday and Friday.
High Season: June 29th – August 2nd
Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Closed on Friday.
Late Season: August 2rd – October 18th
Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Closed on Monday and Friday.
Autumn Break: October 10th – 18th
Open every day from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
After 18 October: Closed every day until Christmas at Nyvang.

Accessibility
We have several accessible parking spaces close to the Welcome Center.
It is easy to get around the area with a wheelchair or walker, and many of the buildings are accessible. However, there are some places where creating a wheelchair-friendly entrance was not possible. Please feel free to contact the office for any questions or guidance.
We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for loan with prior reservation.

You are very welcome to bring your dog to the area, but it must be kept on a leash.
Dogs are not allowed inside our buildings (service dogs are exempt).

Nyvang is currently in the process of constructing the Seaside Hotel – a brand-new attraction that we are very much looking forward to sharing with you.
To ensure all our guests have a great experience, please note the following two important points:
You must book a time slot to visit the Seaside Hotel building. The rest of Nyvang is open as usual and does not require advance booking.
There is no additional charge to visit the building, but a valid time-slot booking must be presented upon entry.
